Finding Thicket another home is probably a good option since it still seems they're not actually separated.

When you separate cats and re-introduce them it has to be done over a LONG period of time. Much, much longer than just a few days or a week. More like months upon months. A few days won't do it and they need NO contact for a while. I don't know if you or your husband is willing, but an owner I knew had decent luck working with a behaviorist for several months with her two female cats. She said that you have to do exactly as the behaviorist instructs and it was a long process, but it made it so the agressor tolerated the other cat and there was no more attacking the other cat or the owner.

If Thicket is still attacking Honey and you plan on finding a new home for the older cat then I would keep the two COMPLETELY seperate from now until when you re-home Thicket, just to spare Honey the threat and stress. There's no reason to leave a possibility of injury if we're no longer seeking to modify behavior. You can keep her in one room and Honey out in the house and periodically switch them, but never having them so much as glimpse each other. And no tossing outside or paddling! That will only confuse and stress Thicket more, making her behavior all the worse. Keeping them truly seperate will make the cats and your husband happier until you find Thicket a good place.

Try seeking out a Bengal rescue for Thicket and be up front about her issues. I'm sure if there's not one in your area you will be able to find the next closest one online.

:Well, It has all been to no avail. I even tried Rescue Remedy but nothing seems to be working. The girls spent most of the day in the same room and Thickett continued to hunt Honey down and attack her.

:My husband is furious and is now demanding that I find a home for Thickett....immediately. It is breaking my heart but I cannot let her kill my little Honey either. The way Thickett is acting, killing Honey is just a matter of time.
