Im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I had to put my 10 yro simease, Simba, to sleep last thursday due to feline luk. My other kitty, 6 yro old mouse, has been with Simba since she was a kitten. They had their arguments, but Mouse never knew anything else.
Anyhow, I've paid attention the past couple of days to her litter box, and there is hardly ever anything in it. I don't think she's pooped in a couple days, I've seen her eating a little, but not like she use to. Shes an over weight cat as it is, (her nickname is sausage butt)so she can stand to lose some weight, but Im sure she's looking for her lifetime friend and is feeling a bit lonely now.
Any suggestions or ideas how long this behavior will last, or if there is anything that I can do to help her transition?
She was tested for the feline luk and was negative, I also went and had her get a booster to be safe.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Shar
