:I wish I had a better answer for this. If you could somehow create an outdoor area where your cats couldn't wander out and this cat couldn't enter...like a screened in porch, then you probably don't have any other option.

::::I'm afraid you are not going to like this answer, but you probably should keep your cats indoors. There is not a whole lot you can do about an aggressive cat in an outdoor situation, especially if that cat isn't yours.

I'mafraid I have to 2nd Mdme. Alto's advice. Keep your cats inside-- try to make some kind of enclosed outdoor area for them. I believe that somewhere on this forum people have posted pix of their cat enclosures so that the cats can get out, but are protected. That cat sounds like a bully - and unfortunately there isn't really anything (legally) that you can do. Even if you tried to outline your property with some kind of deterant he would find his way around or over it. Part of your problem could very well be that your 3rd cat is not spayed (or neutered). And 1 yr. old is well past the age that it can be done. Whether it is male or female the scents that an un-neutered cat leaves can evoke ths type of behavior and especially if the cat next door hasn't been neutered either.
