:I do have a "noisy" solution. Cats don't like some sounds. Try getting a bell and ringing it. Or a whistle. I know of someone who trained her cats using a boat horn! They have them in marine shops - they are like airhorns attached to an aerosol can.

Also, some people use coins in a can when training dogs. Just put several coins inan enpty soda or beer can and shake it to make the undesireable noise. Personally, I carry my noise with me everywhere I go! It's a very unpleasant noise thst started by going "Uh Uh Uh!" with a "growly" sound to it. Not sure jst where it came from (?!?!) but it sure is effective!!! Nancy
