Usually I leave my two cats at home and a friend comes by twice a day to feed them, play with them, etc. Unfortunatly, next week I am going away and am being forced to board one of my cats. She just had a number of teeth pulled as a result of severe gingivitis,and has to be given an antibiotic twice a day for two weeks. I can't expect my friend to try to medicate my cat in addition to everything else. She's very skittish and it's even difficult for me to give her meds. I feel badly about this, but hopefully she'll get over the trauma of being at the vet's for a week.
