Unfortunately, I live in the part of the world where there are no pet sitter services available. My neighbour has offered to clean the litter and feed her, but I don't have anyone that will come in to play with her. Do you think she will be OK? I read somewhere that by the third day, the cat may start mourning, thinking that her family is dead / gone!

At the SPCA, there would be more activities around her, but she will be locked up in a cage and be in unfamiliar surroundings....
