Hi again - Tracy hailing in from Barbados
Well, you can forget about any gourmet foods down here. Dogs have a wide variety of food choices while the cats get about three. There's no IAMS or anything similar - just Friskies, Whiskas, something called Arthurs and the occasioanl spotting of Purina.
I didn't mind so much when I was AT LEAST able to get Friskies Dry food for Kittens, but they've taken it off the shelves!! Based on her size (I don't know when she was born) Mischief is real close to if not a year old already and Tigger and Munchkin are going on 7 months now. I feed them all Friskies canned food twice a day and for now they have Whiskas dry food throughout the day. I had to get the Whiskas when they first ran out of the kitten food and all three seem to prefer it.
My question is this: Are they all old enough now that feeding them adult food won't cause too much harm?? I know that kitten food has special nutrition for during their growth, but unless I have the stuff mailed to me, I feel there'll be no more Kitten food in Barbados before they've all reached 1 year of age.
Any advice??
Thanks
Tracy (Owned by Mischief, Tigger and Munchkin)
