Well, having 10 cats here, treats are truly just that. Treats. They don't get them all that often, perhaps once a week and I don't take away any food. I leave out dry 24/7 with several kinds as their ages and tastes vary greatly. And all including 5 ferals get 1/3 of a can of Friskies twice a day. Mine also adore grass but only real grass grown in the yard. So far have not found any store bought kinds they will munch on. Of course, they also have a fondness for my house plants. This is Tabitha my Calico:):):)
