Definitely always switch a cat to any kind of new food gradually over a period of about a week's time...or longer if necessary. Offer a measured amount for the day, and she doesn't get more! Even if you have to start out with just four nuggets of the new food mixed with the kitten food, do that, and very gradually increase the amount of adult food in the set amount while slowly decreasing the kitten food nuggets. She shouldn't have a problem.

P.S. Switching to a premium brand food would be better for her than the Purina Cat Chow.

:Aww. She wants to stay a kitten:):). Try mixing the adult food with the kitten food and reducing the amount of the kitten food until there is none in the bowl. Hopefully she will get the picture. Let us know:)
