I've come to re-examine the whole issue of feeding cats. Dr. Debra Zoran, Texas A&M, just published a heavily referenced article in JAVMA on feeding our feline carnivores (12/1/02). Zoran and others maintain that the only foods that meet the recommended profile of high protein/moderate fat/low CHO (starchy carbohydrates) that ALL cats should eat *are* the kitten foods!

So, your cat is trying to tell you something.
