Okay, that was a really cute 'picture', wildcat.
Pet stores here have recently started carrying Wellness brand, which I'm very pleased with so far and hear lots of good things about. Before that mine were on Eagle Pak, which I liked pretty well too. My vet does NOT recommend kitten or cat chow.
These pet stores I go to are not convenient to my house either, but I just buy one of the larger bags they carry (for my five, newly six, people population) and put it in a large rubbermaid container when I get home so I don't have to make the trip as often. I'm not ever going to feed the grocery store stuff.
I feed my dogs the same brand and I see a marked difference in the condition of their coats when they're on premium food. I don't see as much, if any, difference in my cat's coats, but I have to think that if it makes a visible difference in my dogs it HAS to be doing good things for my cats too.
:haha. thanks to all of you!
:she will ALWAYS be a kitten. :) yesterday all 10 pounds of her tried to (purring very loudly) squeeze into a space on the bed she *used* to fit in as a baby. it was really funny.
:what premium food do you recommend? problem is, i live in the city where there are no easy-to-get-to specialty pet stores, so i've been sticking with purina cat chow (or, kitten chow) and treats like pounce, since i can get that and carry it home, rather than lugging it across town. :)
