She is awful young though to be away from her Mommy and I am sure that she is still adjusting to being away from her Mother and siblings. If the Vet says she is healthy, I would just give her some growing and adjusting time.
That is what I am thinking now. Just like Kellie, no sooner did I post my worries about her, she started acting more kitteny within a day of my post. Kasey is slowly starting to get her little head in gear. Kellie will help her along, as she is starting to push her to play by attacking her. I cringe and worry about the little thing, but she is handling it just fine, and I actually think she kinda likes it.
Do you have her on the same food that she was fed before you got her?? If not that could cause the diarrhea and upset tummy. :PHWildCat
Now that I think of it, the breeder told me she was not on dry yet.....and that was as far as we got. I was feeding Nutro canned kitten, but she wasn't eating enough, so I switched her to the junk food - Fancy Feast. The vet said that is fine because right now her and her sis need the quantity of food more than quality right now. They both love it and I think the extra food is making Kasey perk up a bit. Her stools are soft, which I expected, but I haven't noticed anything to worry about.
I am just being a very nervous momma. Had cats my whole life, but only in the last 7 or so years have I taken them so seriously. These two being my first kittens since then, I am carrying on as if they are my real children.....which they are, to me anyway.
