Hi. I have a 3 year old cat named Keeble who I have been thinking about declawing. I currently have 2 cats, Keeble and an older cat who is declawed (but by someone else before my husband and I got him). I truly don't believe in declawing and was wondering how others feel on this issue. I had job shadowed at a vet's office one time after the surgery of a cat having his claws removed and saw the poor little thing in the cage with his paws all bandaged up. Keeble constantly scratches on the furniture and my husband and I just stomp our feet and tell him "NO." We don't have the best of furniture right now and don't plan to change to NEW FURNITURE until we find our 1st new home. We don't want Keeble to ruin our new furniture so does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! And has he gotten too old (so to speak) to have him declawed now?
