The routine comes and goes like this: Mr P plaintively meows for canned food when I come home. I open a can. He takes one sniff and snubs it, then goes off to eat the dry food. He eats plenty of dry food during the day, so he is not starving. I try different types of canned food, but the result is the same---do you think he's playing me for a fool?
