If your cat is having trouble digesting food, try feeding California Natural brand. It is a very simple food (few ingredients)that is more easily digested because it is less complex. It is a very high quality food that is made with all human grade ingredients-no feathers, beaks or feet! Also, canned food is easier to digest than dry so feed canned if your cat will eat it. The important thing is to feed a high quality food. There are many to choose from: Innova, Solid Gold, Precise, Wysong, Pinnacle, and Wellness are just a few. All of these are made with human grade ingredients and are highly superior to grocery store brands and even the so-called 'premium' foods.
And a visit to the vet is a good idea just to rule out a serious health problem.
:My 2 year old cat recently started vomiting after eating. The food is clearly not digested - at all! I talked to a friend of mine & she advised me to try 9 lives urinary tract because alot of the grocery store brands have too much acid base in the mix.
:I tried this but now she has diarrhea. Has anyone had good luck with Pro Plan for Cats. Help.....
