I just saw this and I hope your kitty has ventured out more now! If not, you may need to put the litterbox close by.

Many cats are afraid for quite a while in new surroundings for a long time. It took my cat almost a week to get used to her new home when we moved. She stayed under the bed and only ventured out at night. Then she gradually would come out, but would run back under at the least little noise. She finally relaxed and accepted her new home.

Keep trying with the cat. Hopefully she will come out soon!
