Hi,
I am thinking about starting a managed feral cat colony where I work (a university) and where we found our dear darling kitty Gracie, but I don't know exactly how to start. I am very busy at work until November 1st. After that, I will take a couple of months to investigate and try to pull something together in early January. My biggest question now is whether there are enough cats out there to warrant this effort? We are feeding some - 4, we think so far. Besides Gracie, we also trapped 2 females (relocated to a farm) and 3 small kittens (adopted). I am in touch with other people at work who have seen cats in other locations, but we don't know if they are the same ones. Once of them we trapped, neutered and released (see his picture here). I have seen Stanford's website and a couple others, so I will start by contacting them.
Any advise you have would be greatly appreciated.
