hi all. this past summer i rescued 15 cats from a neighbor. she lost her home and didn't spay or neuter her cats, so she had several litters and adults. they were all going to be PTS so i got them in my garage. i got them fixed, and cured their ringworm, fleas, eye infections, abscesses etc, gave them their vaccines, got them healthy, and found homes for all but 2. these last 2 are very shy and won't let me touch them. i managed to get the adult female (Jesse) spayed, but the little girl (Magic) gave me such a hard time, i had to cancel her appointment. she is about 7 months and very small.
i managed to get Magic into my computer room by herself and i am sleeping in there at night and spending a lot of time in there with her. she cries and screams when i walk out of the room. she has gotten to where she sleeps just a few feet away from me, and she walks on me at night. i feed her lamb baby food out of a spoon. she is very nervous and ready to run if i make a move. Jesse won't even eat out of the spoon. i am playing with her with a string. i toss it and drag it back slowly and she gets pretty close, but she still won't let me touch her.
Jesse has long thick hair like a Persian or Maine coon. she is all matted and needs to be brushed badly. she is so pretty, but she would be so much prettier if she was de-matted.
i could place these cat so easily if i could just get them sociable. does anybody have any ideas? thank you.
