I do know that sometimes cat's fur changes color as they age. But it does sound like this is related to the hyperthyroid treatment. If you are worried, perhaps a call to the vet before your next appointment might be in order. Otherwise, be sure to ask when you take the cat in. And feel free to post what the vet says here. I think we'd all like to know!
