Stanley is like that. He plays with something until he breaks it or "figures it out".
Some toys that keep him coming back again and again are interactive toys like the fishing pole types you dangle a fuzzy thingie from. He really likes peacock feathers (you shake them and he attacks the end). All interactive toys like these need to be put up when we are done or he will EAT them or shred them.
I had gotten a toy shortly after I got them when they were a year old. He "figured" out how to dismantle it. Several years later, I got the same toy. Within 30 seconds, he fliped it, pinned it, and dismantled it beyond repair. He remembered how to destroy it YEARS later. He's a crafty one.
Now, his brother... He can catch and eat a fly and continue to look for the fly, confused, for 20 mintutes afterwards.
