My mother in law has a blind, mentaly chlainged kitten who dose not know how to clean hersealf or use the litter box. ( my mother in law is so wonderful she is taking great care of the kittin even though the Dr gave up on her) Anyway, this is a late post but, I would like to hear follow ups. or e mail me @ girly666star@alo.com Thank you!

I would keep the kitten confined to a small area. Put it in the litter box every few hours and especially after eating. If the kitten is still having problems figuring out what it's for, try putting a few drops of ammonia and water in the box. You can get some cat-safe wipes to use in cleaning.
