Loke is a black DSH and he developed a small chunk of matted fur on his back. It's been about a month and it hasn't grown out enough yet to cut it off (which I was able to do with Sassy, who has a similar coat, when the same thing happened to her - I swear, I do brush them!) I've also tried washing the area to work it out but that doesn't help. It doesn't appear to discomfort him whatsoever...is there anything else I can or should do?
