First, is she on Bayrtil because she was already not eating, or did the not eating begin after the Baytril? Any reaction to a medication should always be reported to your vet ASAP.
I doubt your kitty is mad, she probably just doesn't feel well.
I don't know what all your vet has done during these two visits, or really anything about the age, symptoms or circumstances of your kitten, but there are lots of things your vet can do like running bloodwork or testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV. The bottom line is that cats MUST eat and drink every day, no matter if they eat on their own or are force-fed.
If you want your kitty well, tell your vet you are willing to do whatever testing is needed so you can get more information about what is going on. If your vet isn't interested, there are plenty out there who will be willing to run a zillion tests as long as you're willing to pay for it. Just be sure to take her medical history with you!
Good luck.
:My poor kitten is not eating or drinking! I've taken her to the vet twice over the past week. They put her on Batryil a strong antibiotic. She seems to be very angry. She doesn't want to be bothered. All she does is sleep. She will not eat or drink. We've been using a syringe to give her water and a little baby food. Our vet doesn't seem to know what the problem is, which is really frustrating me. I am a first time cat owner and feel at a complete loss. Any suggestions on how to get my cat to eat and drink. How much water should we give her a day. She will not take it on her own. Thanks for the advice in advance.
