The most definite way to tell is to have her x-rayed or professionally examined, of course. Obviously, if there is a kitten stuck by the time you could tell something was wrong she would already be suffering ill effects. Since you say you've been through birth before with her you should be able to tell if she's acting or looking other than normal. If she is, take her to the vet right away.

Either way, give him/her a call this week and see when they advise you get her spayed after the kitten are weaned. It's healthier for her and for all the millions of kittens who already exist and are unwanted. Cats can get pregnant while they have young kittens so be careful about keeping her away from intact male cats and keep the family indoors.

:My pregnant cat started giving birth today around 3 pm. She had two within about a half an hour. It appeared as though another wasn't coming for awhile, so about 45 mins later when we checked on here, she finally got the 3rd one out. It was not alive. Now her stomache was quite big, so one would think that she would have more than 3 beings this is her second litter in the last 2 years. She is still bleeding a little every once in awhile, but right now is taking care of the two kittens. Is there a chance for anymore living kittens?? It's now 10 oclock here, about 7 hours. Any advice. We're scared but don't want to move her!
