Call your vet's office and ask them. Also, after your cat is no longer pregnant, you should consider working with your vet to look for alternate solutions to the "allergy injection". Unless your cat has been allegy tested by an animal dermatologist and is recieving an expensive allergy serum made just for her, what she is getting is probably some sort of cortisone/steroid shot that simply masks her symtoms. It's not good for cats to have this over prolonged periods of time, there are side effects.
Also, it is extremely important that you get your cat spayed ASAP, there are more than enough cats and kittens in the world already. Was she in heat when she got out? If it was several weeks ago it might be too late to spay her now, but as SOON as the kittens are weaned, get her spayed right away. You should also get her tested for FeLv/FIV in a few months - she can easily have contracted either of these through mating or contact with other cats.
And please remember that it IS possible for her to get pregnant again while she is tending the kittens, so keep her inside. Once breeding season begins (and it looks like she is getting an early start) cats can go into heat almost constantly.
:my cat Angel Butt has always had allergies, we allways got her a shot for it .one every other month. She got out side a few weeks ago, and now I think shes exspecting by the end of march. She really needs a shot, because her dry patches are red and irritated and some are turning into sores. She doesn't seem to mind much, but she is starting to look misserable. Dr says to give her over the counter allergy medicine. But which one, what strength, and how much to give her and how often?
