:My girlfriend's 3 month old kitten is having bowel control problems. We took her to a vet last week and she said it was worms, and was given a de-wormer. A week later, she is still making messes all over the place. We bought her her own litter box (we have three cats) and she eats from her own bowl. What can we do about this. We cannot afford to keep taking her to the vet for them to just say that there is nothing wrong with her. We are getting tired of following her around with a towel. She is ruining my couch and has ruined some of our clothes already.
The first thing I would try is to stop all commercial food and feed only raw hamburger for 4 days. If this doesn't help, try adding colostrum to the meat, and possibly yogurt. If you still have a problem, let me know.
