:My soon (in March) to be 13 year old spayed DHS tabby girl, Corkie has had 4 instances of non stop vomiting in 5 months. She will be happy and resting one moment then without warning she is vomiting. sometimes she starts with a bit of food but most times just liquid and then a yellow liquid that looks like lemon sherbert runny and then foam with a bit of water in it, and one time dry heaves. Board certified radiologist looked at her xrays and he and the board certified internist say Classic IBD. She has had that for many years and never vomited like this. She also has EARLY CRF and is on KD but vomited before she was ever on this food. I am really frightened and worry if It could be cancer IN the small intestines. Can you offer any suggestions? Once I get her in the carrier on the way to the vet she stops vomiting (except for once but stopped at the vets), and though her numbers are up, at the time, after fluids and pepcid, next day all is normal and she feels fine!
All I can make out from your description is that it is likely that she has a liver problem. I would need a lot more information to be able to say anything else. As two vets, at least, have already seen her, and they have the x-rays and bloodwork, they woiuld have a much better picture of what is going on than I do.
