I have an 8 year old dilute calico that developed calcium oxalate stones. The stones were surgically removed and she was placed on Hill's c/d-oxl to maintain bladder health. I want to change her food because I think Hill's is poor quality. I tried a homemade raw food and that was rejected. And she refuses to eat canned food of any kind. What in particular should I feed her to keep her urinary pH high and how can I increase the moisture in her diet, short of forcing water down her throat?
