:Dr. Tobin,
:Does brewers yeast work for flea prevention? I'm asking because I'm feeding what I believe to be a stray cat & I was worried about him getting fleas when the weather warms up and I know how torturous they can be to the poor cats. The kitty doesn't come around me, he only comes out of hiding till after I leave (I spot him thru the doorway when I'm in the house). You see, I want something I can sprinkle on his canned food. I feed him twice a day plus I leave out dry food all day.
:
Brewers yeast and garlic together are a traditional flea repellent. Black walnut hull extract in the food is another good flea repellent.
