First let me commend you on being a very concerned and loving first kitten parent:). Yes, your cat would be able to get over a 6 foot fence and not even work up a sweat. They leap to the top of it and hop down the other side without a thought. Could you train her to a long leash so you would be able to keep her from jumping over and still allow her outside with you?? Secondly, fleas are everywhere, the nasty little things and yes she should have a flea preventative if going outside. Your Vet can recommend a good one for her. Great job with your new baby.
