My four indoor cats only get outside with a harness/leash. We started putting the harness on them daily for a few minutes. They have adjusted very well and when it is time to go out in the garden they will run to the sunroom and wait for the harness to be put on. We hardly ever have problems...they have gotten out of the harnesses a few times so now I am much more cautious/attentive. Good luck...I sure she will adjust in no time.
