im adopting a 12 yr old longhair indoor cat that has lived at the local vet where i work for almost a yr. her previous owner wanted her put to sleep but instead they have been trying to give her away since then. She has become depressed and no one there pays any attention to her, so i am taking her home. thing is, she will have to become an outdoor cat, in a heated garage/shed at night with two other young male neutered cats (there will b no probs. there). Does anyone think this will work? She is also overweight and i think getting outside will improve that and give her better things to to than sit around all day in her pen at the vet.
