I am fairly familiar with the coyote situation in arizona, and many, if not most, people with outdoor pets have had close encounters with coyotes; cat snatching by coyotes is chronic!

:We have 2 northwest indoor/outdoor cats. We've heard about the coyote cat snatching. Are our cats doomed to indoor living? Are there areas of town in Tuscon that are safer than others? Are houses with screened in porches common or will we have to build something? Do coyotes break into porches or enclosures? Thanks.
