:Unfortunately, As soon as I get within a few inches of her witht he towel, she hides. Also, I'm having to deal with the kitten crying to get out of the bedrrom she is in. I let her run around when the other cat was shut in the bedroom, but there is no wayI can get the older cat into the bedroom the kitten is staying in. I feel like I may have to get rid of the kitten.

:The cat isn't vomiting any more.

Sad to say this is an option you may have to consider. Some cats just don't adapt to having another cat around. Try to give it a couple more weeks and also consider talking to your vet about medicating the older cat with an antianxiety med. This may make her accept the new comer!

I wish you well!
