This is what I have been doing... Just letting things be but I feel bad about Hershey so I wanted to check if I was doing the right thing, or if there was more I could do. Playing with Oscar and wearing him out might work, but it also might make him more wound up. I suppose it couldn't hurt to give it a try. All three cats love to play with wand toys but not together. Today was a good day though. April did give Oscar a hard time but only twice and Oscar never chased Hershey so this was pretty good. I worry about how things will be while we are on vacation though. We will be gone for 9 days shortly after Christmas. My mom will come to check on them daily if she can. I will also set in addition to the water and food upstairs a litter box up there to. I have 5 for them so I can distribute them around. Last time on Thanksgiving we were gone for two days and when we returned someone got shut out of the litter box and pooped out side of it. I don't want this to happen again. Any suggestions on this other than what I will do? Thanks
Alert your mom to the potential problem of Hersey and Oscar. If she notices anything odd between them when she visits, then instruct her to separate them until you return. Also have her keep an eye out for any signs of injury from fighting - and take the cat to the vet if this should occur! Good luck! I hope that your problems will resolve soon and that you have a nice trip!
It sounds like the problem is going to resolve itself pretty soon, although there may be some spats now and then.
