I recently adopted a stray that has been wandering around my apartment complex. She has allways been exceedingly sweet to all of my friends that she has met. However because my complex does not allow pets she is going to live with my girlfriend who has two cats (1 male 1 female both fixed).

After her check up and shots at the vet she stayed with me for a week to make sure she would not get the other cats sick. When she went over to my girlfriend's house the trouble started. We first locked her in a room alone to try to let her get used to the new environment, which she reacted to pretty calmly. When we started to open the door however the troble began. The other 2 cats burst through the door and attacked. After the fight we quickly ushered the other 2 cats out and checked the damage. It has been a day now and they still are not getting along, it has improved some but my main concern is that the new cat will not even let my girlfriend or I touch her any more. As soon as anyone gets near her she begins hissing and attacks.

If anyone has any advice please help me.
