: : : : i have a house cat that got out 2/23/02 she is now pregnant i would like to know when will she have the kittens and what do i look for as a sign that she is in labor, and how will i know that the last kitten was born. how long does labor last and what do i do to help her. if i touch the kittens with my hands will she not care for them,and how will i know if i am needed to cut the cord. this is my first cat and this is all new to me so please if you can help i would appreciate it, oh by the way i took her to the vet and he said she felt like she was going to have around 5 kittens.(4/19/02) thank you for your time.
