: Hi,
: I just found a cat recently, around 3-4 months ago.I have kept her as an outside cat but around 1-2 months ago i realized she is pregnant! Before we had found her it was obvious that she had been an inside cat.she is real friendly natured. We are expecting her babies in about a week or less.Would it be better to keep her inside since she is about to have them?If so,what should i do about my other pets?and where should I keep her? Thanks.
Yes, you should bring her indoors asap. Otherwise, whe left to their own devices and instincts a cat will find the safest possible place to have the kittens and quite possibly not let you know where they are! When I was a kid we had to lift a small cabin with logs to rescue kittens! You shouldn't have to worry about your other pets, depending on what they are. But if you feel more comfortable you can keep her in a room until she has them. Then it will be a couple of weeks or so until she leaves them alone for more than a few minutes.
Post back and let us know how you make out!
