I've tried a few of those ideas over the long weekend and they've worked relatively well. Now I'll need to try it on someone new -- I'm going out of town this weekend and our neighbor will be cat sitting. Ideally they can get acquainted with each other before I go. So today I'm having her come over after school to give Buford his Pounce treat. Usually I give it to him but hopefully this will help him trust the sitter. I'll let you know how it goes!
