Hi! I'd definitely discuss with your vet to rule out any medical problems. She is a bit older and older cats can develop kidney problems or she could have a urninary tract infection. Do mention the problem early on so the vet can take urine and blood samples. Not a bad idea for a baseline at her age, anyway. Then you will know what her "normal" readings are for future visits.
If the vet gives her a clean bill of health, it may be due to the stress of being moved into a new household. She may miss her former home, humans, and routines. You may want to isolate her to a smaller room (like a spare bedroom) for a few days with her food, litter, and water to make her more comfortable and to ease her into the transition easier. If she just doesn't want to be confined to a small room now that she has had full run for a couple weeks, you may just want to do it when you are gone. They you can put her in a bathroom to help limit her access until she uses her litter box full-time.
There are also products you can spray and behavioral meds, but the vet and other folks on the boards can discuss them.
My gut says it is due to the turmoil of a new home and you can ease her into her new surroundings slower, but due to her age, you can't rule out a bladder problem (which in many cases can be helped with meds if they are an infection, etc).
I recommend you scroll down in this section and read answers other posters have gotten, as well.
