HELP!! I have two cats, A 3yr old Persian and a 1 1/2 year old Pixie Bob. The Pixie has started defacating outside the litter box. He will urinate in the box, but will NOT poop in it. He chooses to go right outside the box either in front of the box or on the side. I have tried everything. Changeing cat litter (non-scented, scented, clumping, non clumping), getting a bigger box, I scoop daily. I thought maybe he didn't like where the cat boxes were so I put them in a more private place. I have taken him to the vet, there in NO medical reason for him to be doing this. I spoke with the breeder and she is baffled as to why he is doing this. This has been going on now for about 2 months. I am afraid that he has been doing it for so long that he thinks that is what he is suppose to do. We are so frustrated. My husband actually said last night that maybe we should try to find him a new home. It bring me to tears to even think about that. Has anyone ever had this problem before? Is so, how do I fix it. I am willing to try anything.
Please Help!!
