I have taken my cat to the vet and all is ok except he said she may have arthritis in her back/legs. I have tried everything recommended to no avail. She runs around the house crying and then finally poops anywhere. Her stool is kind of hard most of the time. I am afraid to give her any stool softener because then I'd really have a mess to clean up, but maybe that is the answer. Anyone have any similar problems?
