We have 2 cats, mixed variety from Humane Society. One is 7 years old, the other 1. Both males, nuetered, etc....
Since we live in a rural setting, it allows them to be outside considerably during nice weather.
They always have used the same litter box when indoors with no problems, until the last few days.
The youngest one, Tigger, is pooping and peeing everywhere except the box. He has gone on the carpet, linoleum, in the boot closet, etc....
Any ideas?
I read mention of some medical problems could cause this....like what?

Other than that, he seems to be fine. Up on all his shots, due again in spring.
