Simba got 2 bags of IV fluids and also sub-q fluids at the vet's, and he's also on antie biotics fur an infecshun (they don't know if it caused the kidney failure). He's lost a lot of weight, he has kidney failure, dehydration, anemia, and an infekshun. The vet sent him home wif 2 cans uf Purina NF and 2 cans uf K/D (all food fur kits wif kidney twubbles). But Simba's not innerested in eating or drinking. Mommy couldn't even get him to drink fwum da faucet. So she's haffin to giff him water fwum a syringe into his mouth and she's also haffing to do sum force-feeding until he eats a little on his own, den start ober wif da force-feeding.

Simba has to go back to da vet on Monday afternoon. He's gonna get more fluids den and get checked over real well by the vet. We's jest going day by day.

There are 2 good signs:
(1) He got hissed off about the sub-q fluids treatment and started hissing at the vet peoples, so dat dey asked Mommy to move him fwum da cage to da carrier.
(2) He took over BoBo's new bed dat Daddy jest bought today.
