:: Hello Everyone..... Next in line is Ashley. She turned 2 not too long ago. Her and her brother were feral cats that Mom's rescue group took out of the colony when they were about 3-4 months old. Mom took them in to foster and worked a long time with them to get them used to humans. When it came time to put them up for adoption, mom just couldn't let them go, so they are here to stay. Harley is the tuxie cat in the bunch. According to mom, he's the pint sized holy terror of our family. Harley is 3 and was found in the middle of a very busy street just sitting there watching the traffic go by. He was scared when mom stopped the car to pick him up, but he purred so loud mom just knew he had to be named Harley and come home with her. Next is Maddie....our only longhaired Catnip Kit. We call her our calicomaincoonwannabe. She's 8 and arrived shortly after our Bridge brother, Chancey, left this earth. Mom thinks Chancey sent Maddie here to help heal her heart. Maddie real name is Madison, becuz that's the street she was found on. Her fur was all dirty and matted and it was snowy outside, but she still asked mom for a bite to eat. The rest is history. On the bottom row, you've already met Munchkin, so I will start with the tabby boy, Nicky. He is Ashley's brother. Even tho he has been here over a year, he is still kind of skiddish and nervous. But he has come a long way since his feral days. Him and Harley like to team up to cause trouble and are alwasy making mom and dad laugh with their antics. Next is Meadow, a very friendly & talkative pastel calico. She is about 2-3 and came to us as a foster cat too. Some evil human dumped her and her 3 kitties in a box behind a store and left them to starve & freeze. One of her kittens went to the Bridge. When her other two kittens finished nursing, Meadow was nice enough to nurse a litter of kittens whose mom had died and they got to grow up big and strong. When mom saw that Meadow had asthma, she decided that she had to stay here with us. I think Meadow knew all along where she wanted to be! And lastly, the matriarch of the catnip crew is Mushka...."Queen Mushka" as she likes to be called. As you can see, she is a beautiful black kit too...and she sure lets everyone know she knows it too! Mushka is 9 also and was born right in front of mom and the human girl. Mushka's momcat was real tired by the time Mushka came and didn't have the strength to finish birthing her, so mom and the girl helped bring Mushka into the world. Of course that meant she had to come home with them when she was old enough to leave her mother. So there you have it...all 8 of us. Mom keeps saying that "8 is Enough"...but that remains to be seen.
Welcome to Meowchat! Since my sibkit, Munchkin, has already introduced herself, I will introduce the rest of us. I'll start at the top left and work across.
The first kit is me...Casey. I am 9 years old and a very handsome all black cat as you can see. Mom found me in the local shelter as a tiny kitten. I was quite sick..so sick in fact that the shelter people were going to send me to the Bridge. Mom decided that my life was important enough to try and save, so she took me right out of there and to the vet. I had to take alot of medicine for a long time, but eventually I got all better and grew into a fine young mankit. Mom calls me her "heart kitty".
