I am posting this on behalf of Audrey Pavia:
Unlike most local kittens in need of homes these days, Smooch wasn't born
here in the U.S. He came into the world on the island of St. Kitts, in the
West Indies.
My sister Heidi is a veterinary student at Ross University on St. Kitts, and
she took in a pregnant cat a few months ago. The cat produced four beautiful
kittens. Because St. Kitts is a very poor country, it's nearly impossible to
find good homes for pets there, so my sister opted to bring all the kittens
to the U.S. this month so they could find homes here.
Three of the kittens have already been claimed, but Smooch still needs a
home. He is white with brown tabby patches on his body, and is the sweetest
kitten in the bunch. He loves to place his paws on either side of your face
and give kisses.
This photo shows Smooch at 3 weeks of age. He'll be 9 weeks old when he
arrives at LAX on December 15th. Whoever takes him will be giving a home to a
wonderful little guy.
Smooch has been inoculated, and his mother has tested negative for FeLV.
