We also rented a cabin cruiser and spend 5 days and 4 nights going up and down the lochs (lakes). Quite an experience. Edenburgh (sp) took my breath away. Such a huge city with so many huge beautiful ancient buildings.............Sounds wonderful! I've not travelled all that much and never out of the States. Figure the British Isles would be beautiful and I'd not feel so "foreign". Have no desire to go to many places but there are a few I'd love to see. Will definitely tell hubby your input on Scotland and Ireland.
