I know exactly where I'd go! Back to England! Went there with my mother in 1996- it was the most wonderful thing I have done- the most wonderful places I have seen- the most incredible experiences I have ever encountered. We followed a plan offered by British Airways that gives you choices between the very high end of accomodations to the bed & breakfasts. We chose the latter as we were also following a book called "Off the Beaten Track" which directs you everywhere but the most common attractions and big cities. We stayd in some great places, ate at wonderful pibs and had car so we could plan our own itinerary. One of the absolute best experiences of my life! And I would do it again in a heartbeat! But.... I would also like to extend it to Scotland and Ireland. There are other places that interest me (India, Egypt, Mexico) but I figure that my chances are so limited that I would go back to a place that I absolutely love. Nancy

:We also rented a cabin cruiser and spend 5 days and 4 nights going up and down the lochs (lakes). Quite an experience. Edenburgh (sp) took my breath away. Such a huge city with so many huge beautiful ancient buildings.............Sounds wonderful! I've not travelled all that much and never out of the States. Figure the British Isles would be beautiful and I'd not feel so "foreign". Have no desire to go to many places but there are a few I'd love to see. Will definitely tell hubby your input on Scotland and Ireland.
