Hmmm... these are all great choices. I thought first of Alaska. I have been there and would love to go back. I also thought of Utah and Best Friends, since I have never been there and would love to hike those canyons! My biggest fear is that I would take home another kitty. Voodoo might not forgive me.
I guess, of the places I have not been, I would like to trek the Himalayas. That would take more than a week. A month would be more like it. It would be the trip of a lifetime. Just to see the mountains, not necessarily to climb them. Mountains are my thing. They are always there for you...
Madame Alto, I really understand this problem with flying. Our recent flight to Japan was 12 hours. I have done it 3 times before and always look at my watch every 10 minutes. If you do the math, that is 72 times during the trip! I could never sleep. This time, I brought medication to help me relax. That made all the difference.
