:Rose, are you on Long Island? That's where I live. Are you taking the Cross Sound Ferry super fast ferry? I love Foxwoods! Haven't been there in about 2 years though. I hear they have really built the place up. I even won $1000 there at the high stakes bingo game. :)
if God had wanted me to fly, he would have made me look like Molly. ;)

Ok Munchie.......here we go!
I do live in Central Long Island..on the south coast. Never been to Foxwoods. Never been to Atlantic City either. Always too cheap to 'throw my money out the window'. But I decided enough is enough.....I need to get away. I am soooo excited to finally get to a casino. AND I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO BINGO!!!!! You won $1000????!!!!!! I have to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind taking the time to answer. (if you would rather not do this on the board, seeing as how it may bore the others, you can email me at Tina1cat@aol.com and put your name in the subject so I know it is you :-)
I was a big Bingo player many years ago, and am wondering if it is basically the same. Do you use 'boards' at any time during the game, or is it all 'specials/paper'? I need to know if I need to bring chips, as I am sure they would be pricey if I had to buy them there. Is smoking allowed? (shame on me, but I do smoke) A typical Bingo game lasts about 3hrs (when I used to play), would you say it is about the same? They say we should make reservations for a seat, but the guy on the phone said since we were going on a weekday we wouldn't need them.....but we will still get there an hour or so early, just in case. I would hate to lose a seat.
I am actually looking more forward to this than Disney. LOL. Disney is great as long as you go with someone who could keep up with you and you want to see the same things. This is where my mom and I would differ.
Thanks for any Bingo info!
Rose
